Making Eggs Benedict
I always wanted to make my own eggs benedict.. And thus, I made it one fine day to find out that the Hollandaise sauce is actually quite sinful because it uses butter.
To Make Hollandaise: Fill the bottom of a double boiler part-way with water. Make sure that water does not touch the top pan. Bring water to a gentle simmer. In the top of the double boiler, whisk together egg yolks, lemon juice, white pepper, and 1 tablespoon water. Be very careful not to overcook the egg yolks. Continue to whisk it until it thicken. Melt a block of butter (well, it depends to how much sauce you want to make) and slowly add bit by bit of the melted butter into the thicken egg yolk sauce.
To Poach the egg: Fill a saucepan with water and bring to simmer. Add white vinegar into the water and carefully break the egg into the simmering water.

What so funny about it was, even though the herbs are selling in Aus, they dont have english explaination writen in the packaging. But rather given a simple direction translation what is that herb for...haha (ie. nin Shen soup - for soothing) - what the.....hahahaha.
I wonder how one can be able which is the best to choose based only with one simple english word ;p

Kong Pao Chicken
Cooking became a daily topic for us...this is one of the dish improvised after two attempts. But i guess in this blog is not so much of writing out recipes or how to cook....rather to share & having little fun to blog it out of what we cooked.
Round 1
Round 2 (improved version)
Ingredients:
1. chicken breast
2. roasted peanuts
3. dried red chillies
4. sliced ginger
5. garlic cloves
6. scallion (spring onion)
7. corn starch
8. dark soya sauce
9. light soya sauce
10. rice wine
11. sugar

The reason why I didn't say how much or many of the above ingredients is because it's really up to you.... You got to decide how much u want to put them...
